About the Journal
- "TELECOMMUNICATIONS" is a prestigious technical journal of Department
of Telecommunication [and now a part of BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LIMITED
(A Govt. of India Enterprise)]
- It is being published by Inspection Circle, Jabalpur since 1951. The EDITORIAL
BOARD consists of members from Inspection Circle and other Units of the
Department.
- It is being managed from resources gained by way of selling the Journal
at a nominal cost to both departmental and other units and individuals
within INDIA and ABROAD.
- The aim of the journal is to spread the knowledge of telecommunication
technologies in the country.
- The articles are mainly concerning with telecommunication technologies
or any connected activities.
- The articles are contributions from eminent people within and outside the
Department, and are generally based on their experiences.
- The Journal has a circulation of about 7,000 copies and is widely read
within the country and abroad.
